PROJECT Summer Place Pavilion- Albury City

August 15, 2022

Proudly built by Environet Canopies

Summer Place 2019 highlights the current climate emergency, and the increasing stress this puts on the landscape and urban environment. The project aims to stimulate a conversation about how we use our public spaces, in particular, how we adapt to increasing heat waves and drought.

CHROFI Architects is internationally recognised with a legacy of projects that are embedded in place, that solve structural urban problems, and celebrate the coming together of people, culture and life.

Summer Place 2019 received a Commendation for Small Project Architecture, The Robert Woodward Award, in the 2020 NSW Architecture Awards.

Summer Place is an experimental architecture project, held in QEII Square in the heart of Albury’s cultural precinct.

Summer Place aims to engage the community in new ways with our public space, as well as providing architects with the opportunity to experiment and be creative with urban design.
